Yeah It's Finally Spring

If you have been reading my blog for a little while you might of noticed by now that I'm not to fond of Winter, in fact I hate the cold. It wouldn't be so bad if it was cold enough that we got snow here then it would be worth it, but I'm afraid that would never happen here, and yes compaired to the extreme cold that some of you girls put up with I know that I'm just a sook.

It is now finally starting to warm up here, last night at touch football I only had one jumper on, and my nose wasn't cold. Now if only we could get some rain to green up the grass I would be a very happy girl. So enough about the weather, I have been busy with a few more swaps here are some of the things that I have been making.

Black and White ATC's

Zoo Animals ATC's

and some more inchies
Now on a sader note a couple of weeks ago we lost two members of our budgie family, Snowy and Sunny were a lovely couple, and I have know idea what happened Sunny was fine one minute then just died, Snowy went the next day, I'm only new to budgie keeping and I have know idea what happened the others all seem to be fine, the boys were a pretty upset and we have left their cage empty still. At least now they are still together in Budgie Heaven.

Beautiful Snowy
Handsome Sunny

Now I know that it has been a while since I last did any of the ABC of my home, but at the moment I am stuck on M which is my youngest sons bedroom and it is not yet ready to be photographed as soon as it is I will continue on with the rest of the alphabet.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful week and I hope to pop in to you all soon.

Cheers,

Sorry to hear about your birdie couple passing away. It's so upsetting to lose pets. I am glad it is warming up for you there.

Hey Linda! Had a good giggle at the comment you left on my blog - maybe GB wouldn't have minded being in the Dog House if it was as well equipped as your hubby's! Tee! Hee! Hee! Was sad to read about your budgies - having had budgies die unexpectedly as a child, I know how upsetting it is. Hope the coming week is happier - and WARMER!! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

Oh, Linda. I'm so sorry your baby died. I grew up with budgies, and after seeing your photos, I may just have to go out and buy a few! They're just beautiful!!

I love your ATC's and your inchies are amazing. I find it so hard to work that tiny. I am sorry about your budgies. My girls always have pets, and I find that I am the one that gets attached to them. We lost two cockatiels recently. It's so sad, they are like little pockets of love. Our Winter is ahead of us, but the snowy days are nice. Have a lovely day. Karen

Hi Linda, so nice to see you today and thank you for your kind comment. So glad that spring has arrived for you. We are about to see Fall, but our weather here in Texas is still pretty hot.

So sorry about your birdie couple. We experienced the same thing when my son was small and had budgies. They can get a virus and go quickly. It is very upsetting when this happens. Hugs to your kidos.
Love what you are working on too. Just fantastic! you are so talented!

Enjoy your spring season and see you again soon.
Smiles, Celestina

Oh! I was just thinking your budgies looked so gorgeous, so sad to read that they are no longer with you. I'm a bit like you, I don't really like winter either, I'm quite glad it's over, even though it's still a little cold in the morning and at night. We've had some good rain which is much needed.
