A new addition to our family

In one of my very first posts I wrote about our bird aviary, well our birds have been very busy making happy families, one of our couples eggs have hatched and we have three new little baby budgies. It is very hard to get a photo of them but I was able to video them on my phone, sorry about the noise but Mum (Jess) is very protective -

Cute but a bit ugly too. It looks like one of the babies is getting a bit more attention then the younger siblings, I'll keep you posted on how they go.

Cheers,

Hi Linda :)

First, I wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry about the accident and I'm glad everyone is okay!

It seems everyone is posting about birds this week ;) They are ugly and cute at the same time. Please let us know how they're doing.

Have a beautiful day!

I hope the little ones catch up with the larger one. I suppose they hatch out of the eggs at different times. Hopefully mum will notice and re-adjust the feeding accordingly? x

Thank you Linda for the video of the sweet little budgies :-} We've always had a budgie in our home but I've never seen a new little baby. Just adorable!

Well, in al my years having budgies and my grandparents too, we were never blessed by baby ones. How cute, I hope that you take photos of them at different stages of growth. Mom bird seems very protective as she should be. What a lovely event. Karen
